Building Community with YOU!

These are exciting times of transition for the bliss community as we settle into our new expansive space. Some of you have lamented the changes and expressed fond memories of the first 12 years in the bliss house. It is a natural reaction to hold dear what was, and yet a necessary evolution to welcome what is. If you have not yet visited the new bliss, I encourage you to join us. It is not the building, but the people whose presence makes community. As we share precious time with each other, become known through deep meaningful conversations, support each other through tough times and celebrate our many milestones we feel the comfort of connection. Together we may overcome any challenges and obstacles and may look back at them to discover that they were implemental to our growth. All of our friends have superpowers, and many are ready and willing to share them. For others not yet quite ready to share your kind presence provides a safe space for Facilitators to explore their gifts and hone their talents. By caring for one another in this intimate way we are co-creating a new way of being with untold ripple effects as we move through our days influencing others to join us as they witness not only what we say but how we live. We are building an army for good. We are seeking assistance for the following roles. Please let us know how you feel called… bliss Board of Directors openings: Secretary (vote, record and submit monthly minutes of the board meetings) Treasurer (vote, liaison between the QuickBooks Coordinator and Moss & Yantis (the accounting firm), present monthly financial reports to the board, prepare EOY tax receipts) bliss Ambassador (greet, welcome, hug, direct, introduce, encourage participants and assist, support facilitators) Lunch Coordinator (plan menu, bring a dish, invite community, manage volunteers for one Tuesday lunch per month) Hospitality Coordinator (clean and restock the hospitality bar, vacuum the mezzanines weekly, windex the coffee table, fluff and wash the sofa covers as needed) THANK YOU FOR YOUR YES, ZOE LYNCH! Gather for Onsite Monthly Summer Community Lunch at bliss

Menu: coming soon The Menu is published weekly on the bliss website, Meetup calendar, the bliss Buzz newsletter and via Facebook post on the Sunday prior to the lunch. Please email tish@blissspiritualco-op.org in advance if you plan to bring a dish to share so it may be included on the invitation. Connect: Enjoy a communal lunch for a donation of $9 NO TAX NO TIPS to support the programs at bliss. Love: A good cook never lacks friends. It is helpful if you volunteer for a date in advance to share your favorite salad, soup, casserole or dessert and enjoy the lunch for a $5 donation.
