Community Building at Bliss Tish’s favorite part of her work at Bliss is helping new facilitators co-create their classes and watching them grow over the years. She believes that everyone has a piece of the puzzle, and by interacting with each other, they can put the puzzle together. This philosophy is why she encourages facilitators to attend each other’s classes, fostering a sense of camaraderie and mutual support. The Blissful Model Bliss operates on donations, which Tish believes takes the pressure off facilitators. Instead of feeling like people have made a big investment in what they’re going to bring to the table, facilitators can focus on exchanging energy and love with their students. Finding Personal Bliss For Tish, personal bliss comes from quiet time where she gets “downloads” from God about how to prioritize and be the best leader. She also finds joy in her porch, where she grows succulents, each with its own name. Yin and Yang Activities Bliss offers a balance of Yin and Yang activities, from walking meditations in the Labyrinth to performances on the stage. This balance ensures that there is something for everyone, regardless of their preferences or needs. The Magic of Community Above all, Tish believes that the community aspect of Bliss is what makes people stay. While the classes are important, it’s the feeling of being together that truly makes Bliss special.
