We have redesigned and refreshed the space at bliss to host even more co-op community building and supporting activities…
- The kitchen has been transformed into the CONNECTING cafe with high top tables for mingling with friends while waiting for a class or wellbeing session, enjoying a treat or beverage from the Hospitality Bar, and playing with games and puzzles. This change will also expand seating for the ever-popular Tuesday lunch. We invite you to bring your favorite dish or beverage to share on Tuesday or whenever you feel called.
- The CONNECTING room has been converted to the CREATING room to host ongoing art and music opportunities. Engage your right brain by creating original art and/or live music with others or go on an inward journey of quiet solitude as space permits. A large TV and dedicated laptop are available to display YouTube art project ideas or chords and lyrics. A $10 donation is appreciated for use of a blank canvas or bring your own. We have plenty of donated paints, brushes and other mixed media project supplies available for use. Come sing with us or play the piano, keyboard, electric or acoustic guitars, drums, rattles and other instruments we have to share, or you are welcome to bring your own instrument.
- We have improved access to the lending library in the KNOWING room by removing a sofa and adding small chairs. A foam noise barrier has been installed on the inside of the door to decrease the happy hum emanating from the CONNECTING cafe.
- In the bliss BUSINESS studio, we have invested in equipment and software to create personal headshots, flyers, podcasts, and other promotional aids to spread the word about all the goodness we are co-creating.
- The bliss Boutique has been relocated to what was the former CREATING room in order to better display trendy clothes, alluring bling, inspirational books and a wider variety of interesting treasure. The suggested donation remains just $5 per item or 3 items for $10. In addition, there is a cabinet located in the CONNECTING cafe that displays organic soy candles, knitted ware, authored books and other items created at bliss or by bliss Participants, health aids, fine jewelry and other cherished objects priced as marked.
- In addition to our new hang-out spaces, we will continue to host classes and private wellbeing sessions in the KNOWING, FEELING, HEALING, and GATHERING rooms, the BACKYARD (around the labyrinth OR by the performance stage) and ONLINE.
