Welcome to our Beginner Mat Pilates, perfect for those new to Pilates or refining their foundational skills. Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on:

1. Core Strength: Strengthen deep abdominal muscles for overall stability.
2. Flexibility: Improve range of motion through controlled movements.
3. Posture: Enhance alignment and balance to prevent injuries.
4.Breathing Techniques: Use proper breathing to boost efficiency and relaxation.

Developed by Joseph Pilates, this method promotes a balanced body and graceful movement. Each session features low-impact exercises performed on a mat, suitable for all fitness levels. I will guide you towards proper form and offer modifications as needed.

Joanelle Rojas, the founder and creator of Pura Forma Pilates, is a passionate advocate for living a pain-free life through the transformative power of  Pilates. After enduring eight years of lower back pain and exploring various avenues for relief, including online resources, physical therapy, massage therapy, and chiropractic care, Joanelle discovered Pilates three years ago. What began as a quest for personal wellness quickly blossomed into a deep love and appreciation for the practice. She continued on to become a Classical Pilates Instructor completing a 600+ hour CPE Comprehensive Certification.
As a certified Classical Pilates instructor, Joanelle shares her expertise and enthusiasm with others, empowering them to live pain-free lives and embrace the holistic benefits of the Classical Pilates Method. Through personalized guidance, thoughtful instruction, and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, Joanelle helps her clients unlock their full potential and cultivate strength, flexibility, and resilience from within.
